Aiden's 2 year pics at Portrait Innovations.
Aiden is really into asking me all the time 'Mommy, what are you doin' - over and over again until I give him a full explanation. He's so cute when he asks although it gets a big repetitive. He likes to say 'oopsie daisie' in the right context. He loves to sing and dance. He loves to sing the ABC song, the Itsy Bitsy Spider, the bumblebee song but I often forget those lyrics. He's really into reading books but you have to read fast to keep him interested. He's eating quite a variety of foods lately. He's in this hitting phase - his teachers are teaching him how to keep his hands to himself. We try that at home - when he's mad... duck! Something is proably going to fly your way! He's still into everything. He likes to mess with the blind cords and loves to play with brooms outside. Timeout doesn't work too well because he just laughs at you. He loves to play in the street - fustrating little stinker we call him. But his cheesy grin and funny personality keeps us smiling.
Joshua is really enjoying drawing. He likes to draw people, trains with train tracks and balloons. He's getting better at coloring and he's starting to write on his own. He can trace any letter that I put on paper. He has more of a interest in that. He likes to play teacher and use Aiden as his 'student' - Aiden obliges most of the time. He's also eating a variety of foods. Joshua loves to watch Chunnington on our bed. He's very much into reading books at night as well. He's excited about becoming 4 so he can get a booster seat. He likes to act like a dog or sometimes a farmer. He's very much into role play. He will share with us at dinner where Aiden will not. He's a very sweet and caring little boy. We're still working on whining and crying but I think it's actually getting better. They both like to do jobs with Daddy. Joshua thinks Aiden is too young to help, which is true for some jobs.
Now that Aiden is old enough to have an opinion - the boys get into more battles over who gets to watch their show, who had which toy first, whose book is it, whose train is it, etc. But when they play nice - it's fun to watch. They like to wrestle and tickle each other. They like to play trains together. It's funny, they play more together at home then when we're in public or friends are over. Poor Aiden gets left behind sometimes as the little brother but someday, that will all change.
