So behind!

I can't get over how behind I get on the blog now. I apologize for anyone that randomly checks this site!! How to play catch up - well, Aiden is 2.5 now and Joshua turned 4. They both received awesome parties! Aiden had a birthday party at home since the park was 'snowed in' and Joshua enjoyed a 'hot, humid' Pirate themed party in June. We took a few vacations. Justin and I went away ourselves then took the boys to Deep Creek for a long weekend. They loved throwing rocks in the lake and eating smores, etc. We just got back from the Outerbanks with our cousins, Derek and Daniel and Nana and Papa Corkle! We had a blast!! Joshua actually got into the ocean by running and in and out of the waves on day 1. Aiden was scared at first but by the end of the week, Justin and I actually would take him into the ocean and he loved it! The water was FREEZING though!!
Aiden is talking up a storm - he amazes me EVERY DAY with his vocabulary. He knows how to count to 10 almost consistently and knows some of his colors and is just an all around smart little boy. He's a character! He loves to stomp around like a dinosaur and roar every now and then. He likes to sneak on you and tickle. He has the cutest and cheesiest smile when he wants something! Joshua is moving beyond the 3's and is doing much better with whining and crying. He has his days but he gets 'most improved'. He is enjoying school more and more and loves to draw and can write some letters. He's started to put his head under water at the pool. He isn't taking naps anymore so that's an adjustment for us all but he's usually really good at doing things on his own and he still loves and is very good at puzzles! Everyone thinks he's the sweetest little boy - very caring with others.
I know that isn't a good update but I would rather post pics to tell the story of what we've been up to!! :<)
