Up until we went to the beach, Aiden asked us every day when we were going to the beach - strangely, he has not asked since being back. We took a trip to Outer Banks mid-May since it may be the last time we can do that with Joshua starting school in the Fall. The boys LOVED it - the weather turned out to be chilly at times but mostly warm! The ocean was cold but the boys didn't mind. We visited the park, drove to the big aquarium (not all that big) on Roanoke Island, went out to eat, played on the beach, splashed in the ocean, etc. In the afternoon, pockets of water would form on the beach like little pools and the boys loved playing in them and the water was pretty warm. It was a good week! No traffic, no crowds... nice!
Joshua is 5.5 years old and Aiden is 4 years old and now introducing Mason and he's 10 weeks old! They are full of life and fill our lives with joy every day! Enjoy our blog! Love~ Molly, Justin, Joshua and Aiden

Update on Boys
Just wanted to share a few updates on the boys.
Aiden is still potty training. He's pretty good at going pee pee in the potty but we're struggling and I mean struggling with the messiness of not going #2 in the potty. He's growing up and starting to look like a little boy as you can tell by the pictures wearing a size 4/4T. He still hates getting hair cuts = it's a struggle and fight every time we get him a haircut - you can't promise him ANYTHING... nothing works so far to get him to chill out. You won't see a very complicated haircut on this kid for a long time. His favorite foods are smoothies, chocolate chip pancakes, cereal bars, pasta, mashed potatoes, treats of any kind really... but he eats a variety of things. We have officially moved him into a new bedroom next to Joshua's. We bought him all big boy furniture! Check out the pic from Justin's iphone. In a couple months, we'll be switching Aiden to a daycare near home. We're a little nervous = we hope he likes it and hope he behaves for his teachers. :<)
Joshua is becoming quite the big boy lately. He's close to turning 5 and his maturity has shown through most of this year. We still have some moments of whining and crying but not nearly as much. He's quite the helper - loves to help Daddy do projects or go with me places. He can dress himself and put on his own shoes finally! He's a size 5/5% but can also wear a size 4 shorts thanks to his little booty... ha! He's gearing up for Kindergarten this Fall and then starts a new program following Kindergarten half day. Joshua also got new furniture but it hasn't all arrived yet so once that happens, I will post a picture. Joshua loves riding on his scooter and picking strawberries out of our garden and watering the plants. His favorite foods are smoothies, chocolate chip pancakes, pasta, risotto, corn on the cob, steak, bread, fruit, treats of any kind... but he's a pretty good eater as well.

Aiden and Soccer
Well, the start of the season, we signed Joshua up for soccer but after the first day and many arguments over trying to get him to participate... we decided to switch kids. Because of a beach trip in between, Aiden has only made it to two soccer practices but he still participated more then Joshua ever did and claims he had fun so it was worth the money. He also was excited to get his medal and 'snacks' at his last practice. Check out the pictures!
